I've been busy with Sister Act rehearsals all month, and last night we finally had some of the costumes for the cast to try out and start getting used to.
The habits are starting to look really fantastic. I have three numbers to finish arranging, and then we'll be all set, though the drummer who said he wants to be involved hasn't gotten back to me since last Friday, so I'm a little bit worried about that, as I really need drums for at least two of the numbers.
The photo is of Meadhbh, who's playing the part of the older nun, Sister Mary Lazarus. Her habit is the only one which is fully finished as yet. She's also the co-director, and one half of the production team who are putting the show on, and together we've adapted the script to be very Irish-centric and expanding some of the scenes really well.
